Organize
Merge PDF files
Combine multiple PDF files into one document, in the order you choose. Free, no upload, runs in your browser.
How to merge PDF files
Three steps, and your files stay on your device the whole time.
- 1
Drop two or more PDF files into the drop box
Or click to browse for them. Nothing is uploaded.
- 2
Drag them into the order you want
Open a file to move, rotate, or remove single pages too.
- 3
Click Merge and download the combined PDF
The new PDF is made in your browser. Your originals stay as they were.
When to merge PDF files
Many forms and inboxes take one file, and your papers are in several. These are the usual ones.
A form that takes one file
Job, visa, and school applications often have a single upload box for a cover letter, a resume, and certificates. Put them in the order the reader expects and send one PDF.
Statements and receipts for taxes
Twelve monthly statements or a year of receipts become one file for your accountant. Each file becomes a bookmark in the merged PDF, so every month is one click away.
A scanner that saves each page alone
Many scanners and copiers save one PDF per page. Drop them all at once, drag any page that came out of order, and turn the ones that were scanned sideways.
One attachment instead of many
A signed contract and its appendices, or a report and its figures, read better as one document. The reader gets a single file in the order you chose.
Blank pages and pages you do not need
Open a file to see its pages, and remove a blank back side or a page that does not belong before you merge. A removed page stays dimmed in place, and a click puts it back.
No catch
Merge as many files as you like

Merging PDFs, answered
Your files stay privateAre my files uploaded anywhere?+
No. Your PDFs are read from your device and combined in memory by your browser. They never leave your computer or phone.
Is it free to merge PDFs here?+
Yes. There is no watermark, no page limit, and no account. The merge happens in your browser, so there is nothing for us to charge for.
Can I reorder, rotate, or remove pages before merging?+
Yes. Drag pages or whole documents into any order, rotate pages, remove the ones you do not need, and duplicate a page if you want it twice.
Does the merged PDF have bookmarks?+
Yes. Each file you merge becomes one bookmark, named after the file and pointing at its first page.
Can I merge password protected PDFs?+
Yes, if you know the password. Type it when the file is added, and its pages join the others. The merged PDF has no password; use Protect PDF afterward to add one.
Will the merged PDF keep its quality?+
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, with fonts, images, and links intact. Nothing is re-rendered or compressed.
Can I merge JPG images with a PDF?+
Not in one step. Turn the images into a PDF with JPG to PDF first, then merge that file with the others here.
Does it work on iPhone, Android, Mac, and Windows?+
Yes. It runs in any current browser, Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox, on a computer, a phone, or a tablet. There is nothing to install and no account to make.
Is there a file size limit?+
No. There is no set limit and no daily cap. Your own device does the work, and files of a few hundred megabytes are fine on a laptop.
